The Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary offers 11 definitions of the word “action.”
Definition number one: “Literally, a driving; hence, the state of acting or moving…”
Definition number six: “In oratory, gesture…”

Here at TV-44, we love to tell God in Action stories, because the awesome truth is this: God. Is. Working.
God is working through organizations like Revive Ohio and Teens For Christ, intentional about going out into the community to reach people with the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
God is working through people like Russ Thomas, the director of Family Promise, pastor of The Gathering Place, and a former drug addict who heard Jesus’s call to him, which stopped him from breaking into a pharmacy.
GOD IS WORKING in North West Ohio, West Central Ohio, North East Indiana, and beyond. It’s likely God is working around you too. We want to hear about it.
Plan to return to our website regularly as we bring you ongoing stories that show God in action throughout the region.
Meanwhile, we want to hear from you as well. What God in action stories are happening right in your own region, your school, your church, your own home? Send us a picture and information about your own God in Action story.
James 2:17b says, “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
It is not our actions that cause us to be saved, but our actions open doors to share the life changing gospel with those around us.
Sometimes those God stories involves speaking. Sometimes they involve service. Sometimes they involve prayer. Always, they involve God.
God in action.
God in motion.
God on the move.
