During this time of the COVID 19 pandemic there are many people looking for signs of hope. There are also many people needing more than just a sign, they need the hope provided through mental health and addiction supports. Coleman Professional Services has created Signs of Hope so the community can help provide those supports, especially now during this extremely complex, stressful time.
Coleman’s Signs of Hope campaign encourages everyone to “Choose Hope.” Yard signs are available to place in yards with the simple message, “Choose Hope.” For a $20 donation to Coleman Professional Services, donors will receive a sign, designed by a local high school student, that reads, “Choose Hope” to proudly display in their yards for all their neighbors to see.
Funds raised from these signs will go to providing mental health services for those in need. Coleman is open and providing services during this time. The agency is following all CDC requirements to remain open and has added telehealth appointments for clients when appropriate. Many of Coleman’s clients are those least able to navigate this new normal without support – the mentally ill, recovering addicts and the homeless. And those suddenly under financial, emotional and physical stress will need Coleman’s services more than ever! Services include but are not limited to: counseling, financial assistance for housing, recovery services and more. 100% of proceeds raised locally, stay local to support Coleman’s mission in Allen, Auglaize and Hardin counties.
Signs can be securely ordered online through www.ColemanServices.org/SignsOfHope or picked up at participating local establishments. Website orders will be delivered and placed in the donor’s yard by a Coleman representative after their donation has been received.
The spring-themed Choose Hope signs were designed by Emma Ellerbrock, a freshman at Ottawa-Glandorf High School. Michelle Sterling of Sign Pro Imaging printed the signs at cost so that all proceeds could go to the services which Coleman provides to our communities.
Coleman Professional Services is a nationally recognized nonprofit provider of mental health, substance use, residential and rehabilitation services.
