October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.This run/walk will help benefit Sufficient Grace Ministries, a local 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides perinatal hospice and bereavement services, memory-making items, support and other resources to families facing pregnancy or infant loss.

When a parent faces the unthinkable, SGM provides their amazing resources and support free of charge to families both throughout the state of Ohio and all over the world. We partner with hospitals throughout Ohio to walk with grieving parents.

On Saturday, October 5, 2019, individuals will come from all over the state to share in a time of remembrance for babies with brief lives. The Race for Grace consists of a 5K Race, PAIL Remembrance Walk, and a short Kid’s Fun Run.

It takes place at our newly purchased headquarters in Deshler, Ohio. On top of having our annual event, this year we will also be having a photo-worthy display to help individuals visually understand the amount of loss experienced. One in every four pregnancies ends in loss. It touches everyone.
